THE STUDIO

My studio brings together all of my experiences; it consists of a gallery, an office, a darkoroom, storage, and a laboratory. It's a space of about 350 square meters located in the Liberty-style district of Turin.

THE GALLERY

It consists of two rooms, one measuring 80 square meters and the other 30 square meters. Over the years, various exhibitions have been held here, primarily featuring the artists I have produced as a publisher of graphic works. I have also hosted an Andy Warhol exhibition and a show featuring 70 Iranian artists. The Gallery is equipped with an audio system and a projector in the large room, and a TV in the small room.

DARK ROOM

It started out as a space designed for photography, so it’s completely dark.

Later on, a sofa, chairs, and a bar area were added, turning it into a relaxation corner as well.

LABORATORY

This is definitely the space I am most attached to. Over the years, I’ve also had a screen printing press and an etching press; I personally printed three graphic works by Anna Valla and two by Gaudaire Thor, which are still in my archive today.

The LAB  is equipped with a picture framing machine, drills, a welding machine, an air compressor, a jigsaw, an angle grinder, and so on. There are paints, pigments, waxes, brushes, cement, sand... basically everything I need to be completely self-sufficient. I also rely on top-tier suppliers who advise me on different materials.
